Abriah Wofford is an American photographer with a long history of transient living. Raised between the states of Idaho, Washington, and Colorado, she spent most of her childhood moving, most of her adult life traveling, and has lived in Africa and Europe at different stages. With a core belief that people are a product of their environment, the idea of space is at the forefront of her projects today. She uses her camera to examine the questions of how people interact with their environment, and how an environment affects psyche of those who live there. Ultimately, it comes down to using a photograph to represent how it feels to be in this space at this time. Abriah studied at Speos Institute of Photography in Paris, and is now based in the western United States.
